Your Trusted Trauma Support Partner

Trauma Call Network provides critical trauma counselling services across South Africa through our network of 1 000 + Affiliate   Trauma Counsellors.  Our Affiliate Network is comprised of psychologists, social workers and registered counsellors.
Trauma Call Network feels that face-to-face debriefing is most affective and that is our preference, however, if it is not convenient our counsellors also do online or telephonic sessions. Unlike many counselling services, our counsellors will come to you if that is your preference.

The Trauma Counselling process is an important one, as it should provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals can address the emotional, psychological, and physical effects of their traumatic experience.

Why is early intervention important?

Our trauma counselling service aims to help individuals reduce symptoms of trauma, such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and to develop resilience and a sense of empowerment as they move forward in their lives.

RESPONSE TIME

We at Trauma Call Network understand that response times in the event of traumatic incidents are critical to prevent Acute Stress Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
ASD (Acute Stress Disorder) and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) often go hand-in-hand due to the similar symptoms they display.
Acute Stress Disorder is a serious condition that can set in after about 24 hours of the incident. People with this disorder are at greater risk of developing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Research has shown that trauma support within the first 24 hours of the event greatly reduces the possibility of Acute Stress Disorder developing. Trauma Call Network focus on  providing the client with the most suited Trauma Counsellor within the first critical 24 hours  to best support our clients through their journey of recovery.
